The magic is alive with this fascinating real life treasure hunt.

I’m going to wager you probably haven’t found any magic lamps of late. And if by some bizarre turn of events you have, I doubt they granted you any wishes.

But, one company is determined to keep that Disney-esque magic alive with one impressive competition.

Yeah, sorry to say there are no supernatural facets to this story just a genuine treasure hunt with one impressive prize.

Treasure Game$ launched its first games in January this year and dubbed the game ‘Wish Lamp$’.

The founder, Dirk Gibson, insisted he simply wanted to spread wealth and it is hard to fault him for his fun treasure hunt idea.

Speaking about it in January, he said: “I thought, wouldn’t it be cool if you could find a lamp in real life and get three real wishes.

“This is a better way to spread wealth. You could have these treasure hunting games for high value things, but rather than having one person win, you build a model where as more people join and more sponsors, you can have hundreds of games going all year long where people are winning all the time."

If for some reason you don’t still hold on to your childlike wonder of having any three wishes, you can simply take the prize of $1 million.

If you do pick the three wishes, they have a value of $1.2 million, but your third wish has to be for someone else, so that definitely adds a touch of wholesomeness to the whole affair.

Now the latest couple to win, Ron Novak and Michelle Bush from New Mexico, said they spent around three months across two trips in Dallas find the lamp.

When they opted for the three wishes, they chose a Sprinter van fit for their four dogs, an entire motel they want to renovate, and a charitable donation.

Ron explained why the charitable donation was so important to him, as the couple made a donation to Hare Krishna Food for Life Group, a charity which he credited with helping him when he was homeless.

“For me, it was the biggest gift to be able to give them money for this because I used to be a taker. I just took, and I needed help and wanted help," he told WWLP.

So, if you fancy one hell of an adventure treasure hunting, might be worth getting your buddies together and get out there.
