Jon Bon Jovi implies he's been with 100 women after confessing he wasn't always a 'saint' in 35-year marriage

Jon Bon Jovi has been married to Dorothea Hurley since 1989

Jon Bon Jovi has opened up about his past, hinting that he may have been with '100 women'.

The 'Livin’ On A Prayer' singer, 62, has been in a relationship with Dorothea Hurley, 61, since the pair met at high school.

They tied the knot back in 1989 and went on to welcome four children together - daughter Stephanie, 30, and sons Jesse, 29, Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20.

Even though the couple are high school sweethearts, the rock star recently admitted that he 'got away with murder' after achieving stardom.

Speaking on the ABC special Michael Strahan x Jon Bon Jovi: Halfway There, Bon Jovi explained: "It had to be tough on a relationship. You're young. I got away with murder.

"I'm a rock and roll star. I'm not a saint. I'm not saying that there weren't 100 girls in my life. I'm Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good!"

He added: "But if you think I'm ever going to jeopardize my anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do.

"What kind of excesses does a man need that's going to fuel that fire? It's just not worth it."

In an interview with The Independent, Bon Jovi also praised Hurley's patience around his touring schedule during their 35-year marriage.

He told the outlet: "These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom.

"It's about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to [mess] up the home life, either."

As for the secret to the pair still going strong after 35 years, Bon Jovi attributes it to a 'mutual admiration society, and being lucky enough to have grown up together'.

The singer has previously publicly expressed regret over being unfaithful while touring in his track 'Bed of Roses', released in 1993.

Reflecting on his marriage in an interview with People, Bon Jovi said: "We enjoy each other and we never fell for the trappings of what celebrity can do.

"We've witnessed that happen over the years to people that were close to us and people that we knew from afar.

"It's just what I do, it's not who I am. I write songs. I happen to be very good at performing them. That's it."

But the singer was very clear that while he may have possibly indulged in the sex part of 'sex, drugs, and rock and roll', another part was very much off the table.

Speaking about when his vocal chords atrophied in 2022, he told The Independent that drugs weren't a factor, joking: “I couldn’t blame it on putting anything up my nose - the only thing that’s ever been up my nose is my finger!”
