People are flooding to social media in disbelief after Barbra Streisand came for Melissa McCarthy on one of her Instagram posts.
The conversation around using Ozempic as a weight loss drug opposed to an injection to manage blood glucose levels in people with type two diabetes continues to be divisive.

Some celebrities such as Oprah and Rebel Wilson have admitted to using the drug for weight loss and Kelly Osbourne has denied accusations she's used it. And the latest person to be pointed the finger at?
The Little Mermaid star Melissa McCarthy.
McCarthy took to Instagram yesterday (29 April) to share two photographs in one post.

The images show the Bridesmaids actor in a green dress, jacket and boot combo arm-in-arm with director friend Adam Shankman.
The caption reads: "Pastels only to honor the incredible @matthewbourne13 at the @ctgla gala last night with this fella @adamshankman !! Thiiiiis much closer to my dream of dancing on stage."
Alas, while many took to the comments in support of the post and in praise of McCarthy's look, Barbra Streisand wasn't quite as supportive.
In a since-deleted comment, the 'No More Tears' singer wrote: "Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?"

And it's not taken long for people to weigh in on the accusation, many quick to condemn Streisand.
One Instagram user said: "I’m so totally taken aback that you could ask her that on Social Media for all to see? I love and adore you, truly, but that disappointed me."
"Babs. No, honey. Just no," another added.
A third commented: "Did she delete the comment?"

"It’s just so wild that she said it!" A fourth wrote.
And a fifth resolved: "Wow really! What happened to not taking about Bodies! As a mother of a daughter that’s not ok we as women need to not focus on appearance."
Streisand's comments jar with those she made last year, speaking out in her memoir My Name Is Barbra about how people 'should express themselves and wear whatever they feel on any given day' and not be judged, noting she herself is 'too old to care' what people think.
