YouTuber crashed his $1.4 million car into building after showing off in front of crowd

Trying to show off in front of your friends couldn’t have gone any worse.

We’d all like to look a little bit cooler, right? Even when you're hanging out with your friends, having a cool entrance or exit still might give you a little bit of a high for the day.

However, one YouTuber found out the hard way that this doesn’t always work out the way you want.

In a clip that has now gone viral across social media, race car driver Edmond ‘Mondi‘ Barseghian crashed a McLaren Senna worth $1.4 million into a dealership while showing it off in the streets.

Talk about an expensive blunder:

To make matters worse, the particular model he crashed is actually considered to be pretty rare.

There are believed to be around only 500 units that exist - and this number could be down one if the car has to be completely written off.

In the clip, Edmond is seen driving down a street, slowing down in front of his friends recording before attempting a donut.

He sort of pulls it off and drives off, only to turn seconds later and crash into a dealership.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the crash, though another video showed the aftermath and revealed how the front of the car was crumpled and damaged.

Somehow, Edmond was able to see the funny side of crashing such an expensive ride after trying to show off a little.

In an Instagram post he said: “I guess we went viral yesterday for all the wrong reasons, that building must’ve really wanted a collab.

“Sometimes all you need is a fun day at the track to recalibrate and wash the negativity away. I’m only human, so yes, this one stings. I loved that car but I will overcome.”

Edmond even encouraged his many followers to mock him for it and they sure as hell did.

He added: “For those of you who want your 10 seconds of dopamine, feel free to haze me in the comments, I deserve it. I own it, lesson learned, but I will rise above. Stay safe,”

However, while many saw the lighthearted side of the incident, others took issue with the fact that Edmond had tried the maneuver on a public road as opposed on a proper track.

“I’m glad you didn’t injure or kill an innocent bystander on the sidewalk. Was super irresponsible,” one user commented.

“Don’t act like this is the first time you’ve done s*** on public roads. You live and you learn, and I sure f**king hope you learned something cause you’re still alive.

“The problem is you don't respect public roads.... so it bit you back,” a third wrote.

So, I'm sure there is a life lesson in there.
