The Rock accused of disgusting habit to save time on film sets

Dwayne Johnson reportedly upset crew members with his unusual habit

Dwayne Johnson is facing a series of allegations regarding what he's like to work with, including one very disgusting habit.

Since ditching wrestling for acting, Johnson has featured in a host of blockbuster movies and quickly became the 'it' man for all things action and comedy.

But his untarnished reputation has been thrown into question in the wake of a damning report which focuses on his upcoming movie Red One in particular.

The Christmas action movie was reportedly supposed to be released late last year, but it's since been pushed back to November 2024.

It's synopsis reads: "When a villain kidnaps Santa Claus from the North Pole, an E.L.F. (Extremely Large and Formidable) operative joins forces with the world's most accomplished tracker to find him and save Christmas."

Chris Evans, J.K. Simmons, Lucy Lieu, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress Kiernan Shipka also star.

While it was presumed the pushback was as a result of last year's SAG-AFTRA strikes, the blame has now been placed on Johnson.

According to a report penned by The Wrap, Johnson's tardiness has proven to be an issue - with the 51-year-old allegedly turning up to set eight hours late on some days.

This is said to have cost Amazon MGM, the distributor of Red One, an eye-watering $50 million, as per insiders who spoke to the publication.

A spokesperson for Amazon MGM has denied this, however.

Another insider who supposedly 'knows the movie star well' also shared a questionable habit of Johnson's.

"On set, away from his trailer, if he needs to pee, he doesn’t go to the public bathroom," the unnamed person alleged. Apparently, he opts for peeing into a water bottle instead.

While this is unconfirmed regarding Johnson's conduct on set, the Jumanji star has previously admitted to using a water bottle to pee in while working out.

In a video shared to his Instagram page back in 2017, the actor was showing his shoes when eagled-eyed fans spotted a yellow substance in a Voss water bottle in the background.

Showing off his trainers, he goes on to say: "I just realized you just saw my big bottle of pee."

Laughing, The Rock continued: "I go hardcore when I train. I don't have time to go the bathroom. I find a bottle and I pee in it, and I keep training like a beast."

UNILAD have contacted Johnson's reps about the new allegations he's facing.
